Try it, but see MD: Ganglion cysts are noncancerous lumps that most commonly develop along the tendons or joints of your wrists or hands. These cysts do not need treatment unless they are painful and persistent. Many of them will resolve with rest, including use of splint. If cyst symptoms persist, see a hand surgeon for removal.
