34 weeks gestation my son had regular pac's at 4 months post he was birth still having regular pac's with nothing found wrong structurally of the heart. is it normal to have them for this long?

Pac's: Yespac' can be present for years. It it usually a benign condition and may present as palpitations as your child gets older.

Yes: Even in asymptomatic patients, further diagnostic evaluation is indicated if pacs are frequent or seem to arise from multiple foci.

Normal: Premature atrial contractions (pacs) are normal. There is no special evaluation or follow-up necessary.
