Is it numb also?: This could be a minor impingement of a skin nerve on the upper thigh. It more commonly presents as a patch of skin about the size of your palm on the upper thigh that has decreased sensation. This can flucuate in severity. Its more a nuisance than anything bad. Typically no treatment is needed.
