A member asked:

Would an allergic reaction to a food cause only one hive, or would it likely be far more than that? i had a single hive 90min after berries.

Possible: If it is a mild allergic reaction, it is possibly to have just a single hive or simply itching and redness. I must admit that this is unusual. Since your reaction was not serious, consider challenging yourself by eating the berries. If nothing happens, then it is not from food allergy. However be aware that the next reaction may be more widespread if you are truly allergic.
