Don't worry, things have gotten so much better now! sleeping gas may be what we call "laughing gas", which is odorless. If you actually had a gas to be unconscious, and need it again now, discuss your concerns with your doctor. His/her team will likely answer questions to remove all your worries prior to your treatment day.
