Depends: Make sure you have been correctly diagnosed with pid. See your ob/gyn to be sure. If severe pid need to be in hospital - treat with Doxycycline and cefoxitin if managing as outpatient would use Doxycycline and flagyl.

My apologies for the earlier confusion. So the 14 days of only doxycycline 2dd should have cured PID caused by chlamydia, even though I had no other type of antibiotics in addition to the doxy?
