I was diagnosed with pid few days ago and on antibiotics. i realised if i dont take mefenamic acid, i feel back pain, urge to urinate, malaise and flushing. i am concerned and stressed if my condition wont improve or would it?

Mefenamic acid is a (relatively) mild pain relief medication, and is similar in effect to ibuprofen. Antibiotics appropriately tested for sensitivity for the bacterium cultured for the PID will not be affected by mefenamic acid. If symptoms continue, consult your GYN provider for guidance.
