Very carefully...: Obesity poses significant problems and risks for both mother and infant. After a cesarean (which is very likely with increasing maternal obesity), the task of closing the abdominal incision is tall and best left to experienced surgeons. En-mass closure of the abdominal wall and reinforced extra layer of closure for the subcutaneous tissues are necessary in most such cases.
