A member asked:

Cbc is ok, but iron is 56, transferrin is 400, total ibc is 500, uibc is 444, iron %trans sat is 11. what could this mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Iron deficiency: Iron deficiency is often symptomatic long before anemia / abnormal CBC appears. Many physicians do not know this. Other body systems become iron-depleted and this may have something to do with why you describe chronic fatigue. I trust your physician has looked for ways you might be losing iron in additon to your monthly loss, and will replace as appropriate.
