Cervical median branch block relieved my neck pain for 2 days then pain again. did mbb again.same result. now it's time for ablation?

What is the cause: Medial branch blocks (mmb) of nerves anesthetize few hours, proving nerves carry pain signals to brain; ablation also temp (few mo). But what are actual peripheral pain transducers? Mbb does not reveal. Are pain transducers myofascia, muscles, tendons, ligaments, or nerves pinched at spine?
