Sun exposure: If you are getting more sun or ultraviolet light, you will get new spots so wear sunscreen.

Not to worry : If you're using the system that includes tretinoin or retin-A, since this medication increases cell turnover, you may be unmasking pigmented spots that were not noticeable previously. That said if you continue to use the system, those should lighten with time. Continue to use sunscreen to avoid further sun damage.
