Consider this: Your question is too general to answer. Amitriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant with effects on chronic pain, especially related to nerve pain. Doses used for this purpose range 25-150mg at bedtime. Pressure head pain can be a type of headache which may be caused by many things including stomach distress, dehydration, also neck muscle usually in the back of head. See neurologist if worsens.

See your doctor: If you are having migraine headaches, a calcium channel blocker added to a higher dose of Elavil (amitriptyline) may help. Triptans or ergot meds may also help. If you have cluster headaches, which are more common in males, than oxygen or nerve stimulation may help. Hopefully, you can see a neurologist in your country for a more in depth evaluation. If it is severe, brain imaging may be needed.
