Whats your TSH?: Sometimes patients with graves disease become hypothyroid, and as a result need to have supplemental thyroid hormone or else they have difficulty losing wt. When people are hyperthyroid they usually don't gain wt because their metabolism is high, however it can cause fatigue and lack of exercise which can cause wt gain. Need to know TSH to determine if you are still hyper or hypo thyroid.

Get checked out: Graves' disease is due to a hyperactive thyroid. At some point, you will probably become hypothyroid. See if you are hypothyroid. An under active will make it very difficult to lose weight without treatment.
