Unlikely: CAD is not part of celiac disease. Celiac disease has manifestations that are outside the GI tract. Those include herpes-like rashes (dermatitis herpetiformis), some endocrine and even brain abnormalities. The most important antibody for celiac disease, IgA anti-tissue transglutaminase, anti ttg) is also present in type i diabetes and both diseases may occur together.

NO, but: Celiac disease is a systemic autoimmune disease triggered by gluten. It doesn't cause heart disease to my knowledge, but, untreated, it does cause issues outside the digestive system, including a low incidence of cancer as well as osteoporosis and an overall increased mortality rate from all causes compared with matched controls.
