Truly a pain in the: A thrombosed (clotted) external hemorrhoid can be very painful and may last 1-2 wks. Internal hemorrhoids can cause much bleeding but no pain. If it is small and getting better, you may not need anything else besides keeping regular/avoid straining etc... If painful, should get evaluated. A fissure (small cut) can be painful too. Sinusitis is not related. Consult doc. Good luck.

A while: If you have persisted for a week you are probably through the worst of it. It is not related to our sinusitis. But , if your hemorrhoid doesn't resolve in the next week or two go see a surgeon that can excise it. Generally after a week or two they resolve by themselves.
