Rotator cuff surgery: After surgery, the most important thing to do is physical therapy.

Physical therapy: Do your pt and shoulder exercises regularly. Ice as needed for pain/inflammation. Never apply ice directly to the skin, always over a towel over your clothing. Ice 40 to 60 minutes, three or four times per day. See your doctor if persists.
