C.diff: Asymptomatic carrier state is known to occur with c.Diff. Carriers actively excrete bacteria in stool. However there is not enough studies that treating asymptomatic carriers have any benefit. Hence, the current recommendation is not to treat. You can try using probiotics to improve colonic flora and possibly eliminate the c.Diff though this has not proven to always happen.
