Probably not: Most of the people giving you advice here are physicians and probably are not taking opiate pain medications on a regular basis.

Pain: I'm not sure what you're asking. Oxycotin is a potent opiate that is used for severe pain. Subutex is not supposed to be used for pain although it was developed as a pain medicine. It is used to detox and stabilize people that have been addicted to opiates. If you have pain it will secondarily control the pain , it works quite well.
