Yes - carefully: Press marks can become infected if they are traumatized. If you choose to shapeero of a birthmark, be careful not to scratch or injure the skin as this may cause the mark to become infected. See your doctor if the birthmark is changing in character.

Hello great doctors out there! I was wondering if it is safe to use hair dye/bleach if one were born with a "birthmark" on head? I just self-researched on what type of birthmark I have and I guess I have the one called "nevus sebaceous". Thank you?
I would like to some assistance, my 23months old son was born with a birthmark covering half of his leg and feet, I had taken him to a doc and referred to a dermatologist because it gets dry, itchy and grows hair but I was not assisted.
