Gray hairs...: ...Last longer than pigmented hairs; possibly on this nevus only the gray ones are left. This is not a universal rule for all birthmarks.

Hello great doctors out there! I was wondering if it is safe to use hair dye/bleach if one were born with a "birthmark" on head? I just self-researched on what type of birthmark I have and I guess I have the one called "nevus sebaceous". Thank you?
I would like to some assistance, my 23months old son was born with a birthmark covering half of his leg and feet, I had taken him to a doc and referred to a dermatologist because it gets dry, itchy and grows hair but I was not assisted.
