Is it safe to drink after a head injury?

Depends : I assume that you are not hospitalized and did not have a loss of consciousness. If you are not having any current symptoms, drinking water should be fine.

No: Drinking can impair thinking ability and may mask symptoms from a head injury. May also make concussion symptoms worse. Would give it a few weeks at the very least.
