Safe: But no tea will have the slightest effect on your skin. Nuvaring may cause acne. If you have severe acne you can clear it with oral spironolactone and/or change to a birth control which makes acne better. Orthotricyclen and Yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) are used to inprove acne. Yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) is better. Both are usually prescribed as generics.
