Why do children with diabetic parents eat a lot of food?

If True...: I am not sure that statement is true. But type 2 diabetics tend to have issues with obesity and overeating. This behavior sets a poor example for their kids, who may eat too much.

Not related: Although dm is hereditary, the feedings of kids are not related to diabetic parents. Symptoms include frequent feedings and always thirsty thats the reason we check kids for diabetes.
