Slow the process : Botox is best to control deep wrinkles and over- active forehead muscles. Muscles pull like an accordion, so if you decrease the muscle movement the wrinkles will soften. Likewise, the soft tissues around the mouth and cheeks diminish over time causing the skin to droop. Fillers such as juvederm, expression and Radiesse (dermal fillers) will enhance the face and slow down aging. www.artofplasticsurgery.com.

No: Aging is a natural process that continues unabated but muscle paralytics, fillers etc help decrease the signs of aging.

No: Nothing prevents aging. What botox will do is reduce or eliminate wrinkles around the eyes and forehead giving you a more youthful appearance but unfortunately we still age on.

No: Actual aging continues, you may make yourself or people believe you are not aging with the use of Botox but you will still age regardless. As far as feeling better, then yes it might help if you believe the way you look makes you feel better. Suggest speaking with a board certified plastic surgeon.

Aging: Of course not. It is only reducing the appearance of aging.

To some extent: Botox works by relaxing the muscles of facial expression. If you relax these muscles they don't work to form such deep wrinkles. Thus this portion of aging can be limited. You will continue to lose volume and your skin will continue to thin, so Botox alone will not prevent aging, but it will help.
