A member asked:

Does peroxide mess up ph of mouth?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Mouth rinses: Yes. Over use of hydrogen peroxide is not a good thing. It can change the normal flora of the mouth and can also burn tissues if used daily. Using a few times a week would be fine if diluted. Long term use of hydrogen peroxide can cause free radicals which is not healthy. Like anything use in moderation.
