Possibly, the start: Of something new. You may be entering the pre-menopause during which irregularly spaced or less often than monthly periods occur. It would not be terribly unusual at 46 - you might mention it to your doctor for an opinion. If there are no unpleasant symptoms along with this change, you probably have no need to worry. Best!
