I had a cold for a month and saw a doctor and took z-pak. i have been coughing for a month. also have sore throat. should i see doctor for sore throat?

Cough: Z-pak will not work for cold , z-pak works on certain bacteria but not virus. Cough can be from post nasal drip, esophageal reflux( the sore throat can be from regurgitaion of acidic gastric fluid that irritate it), anti-hystamine such as benadryl, (diphenhydramine) loratadine, Cetirizine can help if cough is from rhinitis/uri, and ranitidine/omeprazole/lansoprazole can help for acid reflux , yes see doc for help.
