False result: Your doctor is hoping for a lab error. He/she is correct to recheck the lab. With sle you should also have a urine test done to look for protein. This is usually the earliest sign of sle kidney disease. Any medications you are taking should also be reviewed.

On my lab work it says GFR NONAFR is 111 and GFR AFRICAN is 134. Is this normal? I didn't know what this meant.
Thrombin 14.5,PT 22.7,APTT 79 all prolonged. APTT mix not corrected, CH50-low @22, C4 norm, C3 low. SLE pt. Lab says other results prove it is not lupus anticoagulant. What else could cause this? C3 almost always low,C4 never low. Creatnine 1.4.
If ones lupus currently shows normal labs(other than high ana)does that mean they shouldn't have any bad lupus days or lupus symptoms & feel fine every day?
