A member asked:

I just found out i have a large air bubble in my lung. is this serious, what can i expect if it busts? does it resolve it self? i'm scared not knowing

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Air bubble: If you mean bullae , if it ruptures you could have something called a pneumothorax. But most of the time it doesn't happen. If pneumothorax happening recurrently, it has to be removed surgically.
