Rehab it.: The size of the tear, what you did to help it heal, what rehab you did all affect the outcome. If you just gave it a rest, the muscle probably scarred and could have shortened. Try stetching it slowly and gently . Over several wks it should improve. Or see a physical therapist for help.

Stop activity: When you tear a muscle (strain) thedre is residual scar tear t. It is a bit stiff compared to your muscle, it requires warming it up with mild exercises and stretching prior to doing vigorous activity. See doc and may require formal physical therapy to strecth it out.
