Is this a spider bite? or a pimple? it used to be smaller and a week later it turned red and hard to the touch and it really hurts! please help

Abscess: Abscesses occur when an area of tissue becomes infected and the body's immune system tries to fight it. White blood cells move through the walls of the blood vessels into the area of the infection and collect in the damaged tissue. During this process, pus forms. Pus is the buildup of fluid, living and dead white blood cells, dead tissue, and bacteria or other foreign substances. Surgery needed.

Cannot diagnose: Go and see a doctor and this is not likely to be a spider bite, but probably a staphylococcal boil. Go now, don't waste time asking questions on the net of people who cannot see the lesion you are referring to. Good luck.
