Possible: There is always a possibility that a woman of child bearing age who misses her period may be pregnant. Especially if she is usually regular between cycles. It would be wise to take a pregnancy test or follow up with a doctor.

The best way to tell: The earliest way to tell if you are pregnant is with an early detection pregnant test done on your first voided urine in the morning. This can be positive even a few days before a missed period. Your doctor's exam should be able to tell if it has been more than 4 weeks since ovulation.
