Low progesteron: Provera (medroxyprogesterone) is not a true Progesterone and is instead a progestin which has some similarity to progesterone, but can cause serious problems. If you are low on progesterone, then you should be on bioidentical Progesterone and not provera (medroxyprogesterone). You may want to consult with a doctor familiar with bioidentical hormones, e.g. A doctor who does complementary or integrative medicine.
