A member asked:

When do i take my 8 month old to the dr...she threw up her breakfast and lunch and has been acting ok but sleeping a lot?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See the doctor: When an infant or child is vomiting or has diarrhea, he/she is at risk for acute dehydration or loss of bodily fluids. When a child is sleepy or lethargic, it can indicate dehydration and in children especially, this can progress rapidly. It would be necessary to be seen by a physician in order to assess the level of dehydration and therefore treat as they see fit. If not responding, call 911.
