Gynecomastia: The most common cause of 'male breasts' on both sides is weight gain. Getting on an exercise regimen and changing your dietary habits can help. There are some medications that can cause gynecomastia (enlarged male breast tissue). I recommend reviewing your medications with your doctor. In some cases, it may need to be surgically removed if causing pain. Most times it can be monitored.

Seek Consultation: In-person consultation with your family practitioner and/or plastic surgeon is a good place to start. Accurate history and physical examination is important. Eliminating “causes” of gynecomastia is also important. Surgical treatment usually involves partial excision of the glandular tissue plus/minus liposuction surgery. Again, much of what is recommended will depend on specific physical exam.
