Possibly: It depends on the severity of the pain. In the last third of the pregnancy your body begins to prepare for the birth by producing a hormone called relaxin. This softens the fibroelastic cartilage that holds the pubic bone together in the front. This softening can lead to inflammation in the area causing pain. If more than mild or any sign of contractions, please see your doctor immediately!
