A member asked:

I am 10 weeks pregnant and sometimes get mild pains on either side of my pelvis, is this normal around this time?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Common symptoms: Early pregnancy is associated with lots of pelvic cramping. It could be normal; could also indicate an ovarian cyst (like the one where you ovulated from), could be a fibroid tumor, or bladder infection, could suggest an ectopic pregnancy (but by 10 weeks - that is less likely), if you have had a sono confirming the baby growing inside the uterus and no other abnormalities found, its probly okay.
