Depends: Dizziness after a gastrointestinal malady causing vomiting and diarrhea can result in significant fluid losses resulting in postural dizziness. Your ability to re-hydrate and how severe the fluid loss was determines the recovery period. This can be modified by blood pressure medication or cardiac conditions. If persistent give your doctor a call.
