A member asked:

My partner had severe dizziness bp 154over 105 and severe vomiting last night - we think it may have been food poisoning within one hour of eating but no other symptoms.. should we be concerned - he feels a bit better this morning .?

Recheck BP: Blood pressure increases when people are in pain. Most likely it was the distress of GI illness that caused the spike in bp. Please recheck BP in the next few days.

Maybe virus: Food poisoning is rare, gastrointestinal virus infection is common. If he's feeling better today, then that should be it. If you get the same thing in a week or so, then that's proof it was an infection.
