Possibly therapy: Fibromyalgia is one of those diagnoses that has a potential psychological component to it, in addition to a medical component. As such, in some cases, therapy to address the psychological component can help to reduce that aspect of the disease. For example, if the person has depression, or severe anxiety, etc, reducing that may reduce pain.
