See physician: Puss is a sign of infection, which is something you don't want to let go. You should see a physician to have it treated. It may require removal and or antibiotics in order to ever be successfully treated/cured. You may want to wash it thoroughly and put a topical antibiotic cream on it in the meantime. See your podiatrist for antibiotics and to discuss getting rid of the ingrown nail that caused the whole problem.
