How do you cure an ingrown toenail that's red and weaping puss?

See physician: Puss is a sign of infection, which is something you don't want to let go. You should see a physician to have it treated. It may require removal and or antibiotics in order to ever be successfully treated/cured. You may want to wash it thoroughly and put a topical antibiotic cream on it in the meantime. I hope this helps.

Removing the: Offending ingrown nail is the mainstay of treatment. See a podiatrist. This is usually performed under local anesthesia.

Red and pus: This is an obvious infection - and needs help right away . The tendon in your toe is surprisingly close to the nail growth center and a great place for an infection to race up your foot. See your podiatrist for antibiotics and to discuss getting rid of the ingrown nail that caused the whole problem.
