A member asked:

Is that normal to feel tired all the time with a brain injury and why?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not unusual: If you are talking about a mild traumatic brain injury--ie. Concussion, this is not uncommon for post-concussive syndrome. The brain chemistry is different after an injury, and may no be functioning as well. Thus, the tiredness all of the time. I notice that you have a vp shunt. This may be a separate issue that may cause tiredness if there is a shunt problem. Check with your doctor about that.
