I have shared reports for ecg and other medicine that my father is having after a heart attack . is cabg the only option to remove the blockage?

It depends: CABG is not the only option to remove blockages. The decision to do CABG depends on having multi vessel disease, left main disease and whether patient is a diabetic. I other instances most often PTCA or stents may suffice.

No: Stent placement. And angioplasty are the other ways to remove the blockage. But if disease is in left main artery or all three vessels then. Cabag. Needed.

No: CABG is one method. Pci or percutaneous coronary intervention aka stent placement is another. Medical management is another. There are also hybrid procedures of the three and other less common procedures. Ask you doctor.
