Parenting: I remember when my first son got a high fever and had to have a spinal tap. I felt completely helpless as i held him sobbing while the doctor completed the procedure. Now as a physician with some experience i can promise you that you want your baby to get all of the appropriate care and testing and treatment so that they get better in the best way possible. Know that we all understand this pain.
