PCOS: You can have regular periods with pcos and this can fluctuate over time. Pcos rarely gets cured but can definitely be controlled- with diet, exercise, vitamins and sometimes medications. Weight loss is the number one way to control the hormones that cause irregular periods. The underlying issue with pcos is Insulin resistance or sensitivity to sugars so a low carb diet is important.
