Dark under eye circles, retin a (tretinoin) or hydoquinone helpful?

Skin medications: Should not be used close to your eyes. Often, they are too concentrated or the preservatives in them will irritate your eyes. Consult with your ophthalmologist about a safe eye ointment that will help your problem.

Hydroquinone will not help dark under eye circles and should not be used near the eyes. Also, Retin-A is too strong of a medication to use under the eyes and would not help with dark circles, which tend to be more vascular in nature. Try over the counter eyecreams for dark circles that contain caffeine as an active ingredient.
