How do i get rid of hyperpigmentation? would retin-a cream help? i'm using an otc bleaching cream that contains 2% hydroquinone but it's not helping.

Depends on the cause: Retin A (tretinoin) will definitely not help & irritate your skin more. If it's from shadows under your eyes & due to sub clinical food allergies, neither will help. Address the cause to reduce the lymphatic congestion. If area is red/brown pigmented, laser can help. If it's from recent scar, you must wait for it to heal. Solaquin Forte 2% won't help, and can hypopigment surrounding skin.(Best 2 see skin Dr.)
