Will ct scan found a liver defect what does this mean?

Need to know more.: Unless ct shows it's a simple cyst, further testing is needed. If it's solid, it may still be benign. In people without known cancer, most solid lesions in the liver are benign hemangiomas, but this diagnosis should be confirmed not assumed. Mri is best test for liver lesions, but may not be necessary in your case. Need to know more: size? Shape? Was ct done with contrast (xray dye)?
