Clogged ears: It is common when someone flies with a cold or bad allergy. During the descend, barometric pressure outside the ear drum is rising but the middle pressure remains low due to eustachian tube dysfunction. People with frequent childhood chronic otitis media are also prone to this. See your primary care doctor first.
