If the vicodin was: Prescribed for you, then yes, it's ok to use with advil (ibuprofen). Don't use more than 2400 mg of advil (ibuprofen) per day. Don't take it for long periods of time.

Yes: Advil (ibuprofen) is a non steroidal anti-inflammatory medication. Vicodin is a combination of hydrocodone and acetaminophen. It is possible to take them together. However, you need to take them with physician instruction.
